SIRE: Dual R Smokin
DAM: CDS Modern Millie by Little Seabiscuit
Owned by Bledsoe Ranch of Springer, Oklahoma, the 2014 son of Dual R Smokin out of CDS Modern Millie, has been trained and shown by Bobby Lewis and Joseph Harrison. With a resume filled with wins such as the 2019 American Rope Horse Futurities Association (ARHFA) Heeling Champion, 2019 AQHA Heeling World Champion, 2020 Houston Livestock Hi-Point Champion, 2021 Houston Livestock Show Heading Heading and winner of the 2021 Art of the Cowgirl steer stopping with Samantha Robbins, this stallion is proven and is now promising as a sire.
Dual Axle’s first foal crop hit the ground in 2022. Bred to mares like JLows Glo, a multiple-time AQHA world champion, and daughters of Highbrow CD, CD Lights and Hollywood Dun It, Dual Axle’s current offspring are smart and catty.
“The foals are just so catty that we will probably start them in the cutting and working cow horse,” Denice Bledsoe said of her plans with the upcoming foal crop. “They will go to the rope horse futurities to hopefully follow in their sire’s footsteps to become ARHFA champions, after they’ve hopefully gone to the National Reined Cow Horse Association Snaffle Bit or have some cutting experience.”
Dual Axle is currently on the Riata Buckle waitlist and will enroll in more incentives as foals come of age.
