Stylin With Pepto, by $28-million sire Peptoboonsmal and out of Docs Stylenaetta, had primarily been bred to mares within the Brown family’s Quarter Horse program to ensure the highest quality foals were being produced. With the 2009 stallion’s first foal crop hitting the arena and proving to be successful, the Brown family has started to open books to the public.

With a limited first foal crop, it was in Stylin With Pepto’s second foal crop that he produced Peppys Stylin Lena. Under the skilled hands of J.D. Yates, Peppys Stylin Lena won the open heeling at the 2022 Black Hills Stock Show.

“Stylin With Pepto is already producing horses that are winning at a fairly high level,” Eric Brown said. “He’s really producing horses that have size and substance and they’re really, really good-minded. They’re the type of horses that are absolutely a dream to get along with.”

The Brown family has bred Stylin With Pepto to a wide variety of mares and the foals are all strong, versatile and user-friendly for everyone from beginner riders to professionals. Foals by Stylin With Pepto are eligible for the Riata Buckle.
