At Home with Jason Smith
After Jason Smith’s hall of fame college football career at Baylor University, the St. Louis Rams used their second overall pick to select him in the 2009 NFL Draft. The native Texan played five seasons—2009-2013—as an offensive tackle in the NFL, with the Rams, the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints. Smith, who turned 32 on April 30, first picked up a rope in 2003, and has been at it ever since. He now lives with his wife, Dacie; 3-year-old son, Jate; and baby girl, Drue, in Fairfield, Texas.
