The 2025 Resistol Rookie of the Year contenders logged some big wins in August as the Northwest run rolled on with less than one month left in the regular season.

James Arviso

Arizona cowboy James Arviso leads the Resistol Rookie heading standings with $53,833.46 won on the year. Since the beginning of August, Arviso had a record-setting win in Burley, Idaho, and has picked up $10,228.

  • Logan, UT: placed fourth with a 4.4-second run to win $3,258
  • Omak, WA: tied for seventh with a 5.4-second run to win $1,322
  • Canby, OR: tied for second in the second round with a 4.1-second run to win $1,778

Riley Kittle
