Sherwood and Woodard dominate in Fort Worth, Texas

Matt Sherwood and Walt Woodard exited the arena at the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show in Fort Worth, Texas each with $8,909 in the bank after they roped three head in 15.6 seconds to take home the average win. Their team didn’t get in the money for the first two rounds, but they won second in the final round with a 5.5 second run worth $1,344 each and pocketed another $7,565 each for their average win. Sherwood is now sitting sixth in the PRCA world standings with $12,827.95 won, and Woodard is seventh with $12,098.68.

After winning the Wildfire Open Friday, Luke Brown and Jake Long took the number-two spot at Fort Worth, Texas with a time of 16.0 seconds on three head, netting $6,578 each. They tied Jake Cooper and Logan Medlin and Rhett Anderson and Coleby Payne in the first round with a 4.9 second run worth $1,096 each. In the final round, they tied Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp for third in the round with a 5.8 second run worth $924 each. Brown is now second in the PRCA world standings and Long is third on the heel side with $21,338.93 each.

Logan Medlin is currently second on the heel side in the PRCA world standings with $22,576.61 won. He and partner, Jake Cooper who is fourth with $15,291.90 won, took home third at Fort Worth, Texas with 16.3 seconds on three head worth $5,591 a man. They won the average at the Sandhills Stock Show and Rodeo earlier in the year. 

As the San Angelo (Texas) Rodeo has kicked off, Tom Richards and Jake Smith are tied with Clay Smith and Paul Eaves with 8.3 seconds on two head.
