Middle of the Pack: 2024 NFR Round 6 Steer Report
There are three steers that are considered money steers in Round 6 of the team roping at the 2024 NFR.

The sixth round of the 2024 NFR will round out the three pens of team roping steers’ second trips with the medium-sized and medium-speed steers making their reappearance.

Tonight in Round 6, Clint Summers and Jake Long drew Steer 53 which Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira split Round 3 on. Derrick Begay and Jonathan Torres also drew a round-winning cow with Steer 42, the steer Dustin Egusquiza and Levi split the third-round win on.

1Clint Summers / Jake Long53 *money steerKaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira roped this steer in 3.7 seconds to split the win in Round 3.
2Coleman Proctor / Logan Medlin45Erich Rogers and Paul Eaves were 4.1 seconds on this steer in the third round.
3Kaleb Driggers / Junior Nogueira50Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp had this steer in Round 3. This cow appeared to duck his head as TWade threw his loop.
4Tyler Wade / Wesley Thorp6Clay Smith and Coleby Payne roped this steer in Round 3, and they were a 9.6 after a leg.
5Dustin Egusquiza / Levi Lord46Cyle Denison and Tanner Braden had this steer in Round 3. Tanner missed this steer after they had some trouble in the field.
6Erich Rogers / Paul Eaves 34Brenten Hall and Kaden Profili ran this steer in Round 3 and legged him.
7Cody Snow  / Hunter Koch37Jake Smith and Douglas Rich were 4.2 seconds on this steer in Round 3.

12J.C. Yeahquo / Buddy Hawkins60Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin had this steer in Round 3, and Coleman missed. Contractor Bobby Joe Hill considers this the best steer in the herd.

14Jake Smith / Douglas Rich44This steer appeared to fight the chute for Clint Summers and Jake Long in Round 3, but they roped him in 4.1 seconds.
15Andrew Ward / Kollin VonAhn31J.C. Yeahquo and Buddy Hawkins were 4.0 on this steer in Round 3 despite the cow being a tick to the right.
