Between the Cheyenne Frontier Days, Pioneer Week in Utah and plenty other rodeo action across the country, July 19-26, was a big week for team ropers in the 2026 PRCA world standings race.
These were the top five money earnings in the team roping over the week of July 19-26.
1. Kaleb Driggers & Junior Nogueira: $22,477
Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira are working hard to close the gap between them and the PRCA world standings leaders Korbin Rice and Cooper Freeman. The 2021 and 2022 world champs sit second in the world standings with $129,007.74 won on the year, thanks in part to their $22,477-a-man week July 19-26.
Driggers and Nogueira won first in their bracket at the Cheyenne Frontier Days for $2,000 a man and third in their Semifinals for $2,000 apiece. On championship Sunday, they split the win in the Finals for $8,600 a man but ultimately lost the tie-breaker for the awards and Cheyenne title.
They also made quick work of their time in Utah. Driggers and Nogueira tied for third in the first round of the Ogden Pioneer Days for $3,463 a man and won third in the first round at the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo for $3,863 apiece. They also picked up second in Round 2 of the Deadwood Days Of ’76 Rodeo in South Dakota for $2,551 apiece.
2. Lightning Aguilera & Kaden Profili: $20,507
Lightning Aguilera and Kaden Profili have had a hot summer run, now winning $20,507 apiece over the week of July 19-26. The two-time NFR qualifiers now sit fifth and sixth in the world with $105,931.27 and $97,306.83, respectively.
Aguilera and Profili won first in their Cheyenne bracket for $2,000 apiece, but their biggest hit came in Ogden. They tied for third in Round 1 in for $3,463 a man, won seventh in Round 2 for $782 apiece and won the average for $7,709 a man. They also won the first round of the Utah Days of ’47 Rodeo in Salt Lake City for $3,619 a man, as well as the second round in Deadwood for $2,934 apiece.
3. Cody Snow & Lane Mitchell: $20,043
The high-money earners over Cowboy Christmas are keeping their winning streak alive. Cody Snow and Lane Mitchell won $20,043 a man the week of July 19-26, highlighted by major success in Salt Lake City. Snow and Mitchell, who have nine NFR trips between them, split the win in Salt Lake for $15,500 a man. For the gold medal, however, ties in the Finals were broken by the team with the fastest average in the long rounds, giving Clay Smith and Coleby Payne the leg up for the medal. Snow and Mitchell also tied for the win in the second Wildcard Round in Cheyenne for $1,750 a man, as well as fourth in the second round in Ogden for $2,793 apiece.
Snow and Mitchell now sit ninth in the world with $82,141.18 and 12th with $79,438.13.
4. Coy Rahlmann & Logan Medlin: $19,700
Things have picked up tremendously in July for Coy Rahlmann and Logan Medlin. The NFR qualifiers pocketed $19,700 a man over the last week to push them to No. 16 and 17 in the world standings with $73,080.08 and $74,045.93, respectively.
Rahlmann and Medlin did work in their trip to Cheyenne, winning third in their bracket for $1,000 a man. They then won their Semifinals for $3,000 a man before splitting fourth in the Finals for $5,000 apiece. In Utah, they won the second round in Spanish Fork for $5,226 a man. Ogden also treated them nicely as they won second in Round 2 for $782 apiece and fourth in the average for $4,692 a man.
5. Denton Parish & Buddy Hawkins: $19,514
Denton Parish and Buddy Hawkins picked up some much-needed momentum July 19-26, winning $19,514 a man. Parish and Hawkins won second in their Cheyenne bracket for $1,500 apiece before heading to Spanish Fork for their biggest hit. They won Round 1 in Spanish Fork for $4,885 apiece, eighth in the second round for $151 a man and won the average for $7,839 a man. While in Utah, they also won the second round in Ogden for $5,139 apiece.
Their nearly $20,000-week pushed Parish to 38th in the world with $46,424.77 and Hawkins to 36th with $45,469.91. A Resistol Rookie Header of the Year contender, the big week also put Parish third in the rookie race.
