The 2026 Texas Swing is kicking into higher gear with the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo starting Jan. 23. Here’s everything team ropers need to know to stay in the loop during the rodeo and keep up with results.

2026 Fort Worth team roping results

Bracket One

First round: 1. Dawson Graham/Dillon Graham, 5.3 seconds, $2,500 each; 2. Colby Lovell/Ty Arnold, 6.5, $1,900; 3. Dalton Turner/Tanner Braden, 7.2, $1,500; 4. Cody Snow/Hunter Koch, 10.8, $1,000; 5. Kolby Krieger/Michael Fortenberry, 11.7, $125; no other qualified runs.

Second round: 1. Cody Snow/Hunter Koch, 4.0 seconds, $2,500 each; 2. Kolby Krieger/Michael Fortenberry, 5.2, $1,900; 3. Dawson Graham/Dillon Graham, 5.6, $1,500; 4. Colby Lovell/Ty Arnold, 10.7, $1,000; 5. Cyle Denison/Lane Mitchell, 14.2, $125; no other qualified runs. 

Qualifiers: 1. Dawson Graham/Dillon Graham, $4,000 each; 2. Cody Snow/Hunter Koch, $3,500; 3. Kolby Krieger/Michael Fortenberry, $2,025; no other qualified runs.

What is the format at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo?

There are 18 total performances at the FWSSR ProRodeo Tournament with seven brackets of eight teams competing in back-to-back rounds (Performances 1-14). There is one Wild Card Round (Performance 15), two rounds of Semifinals (Performances 16-17) and an eight-team Finals (Performance 18). 

PERFORMANCES 1-14: PROGRESSIVE ROUNDS

There will be seven brackets of eight teams competing in back-to-back rounds. The top two money-earning teams in each bracket (14 total) will progress to the Semifinals. The third top money-earning teams will advance to the Wild Card Round. The team ropers who do not advance will be placed in a “non-qualifiers” pool. At the conclusion of Bracket 7, the top money-earning team from the non-qualifiers pool will fill the eighth position in the Wild Card Round.

PERFORMANCE 15: WILD CARD ROUND

From the eight teams in the Wild Card Round, the top two money-earners will advance to the Semifinals Round with a clean-slate format.

PERFORMANCES 16-17: SEMIFINALS ROUNDS

Teams will each make one run in one of two performances with a clean-slate format. The top four teams per performance will advance to the Finals. 

PERFORMANCE 18: THE FINALS

The top eight teams will run in the Finals with a clean slate (no previous times carried forward). On that day, the fastest team wins the title of 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo ProRodeo Tournament Champion.

What is the team roping payout at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo?

The team roping has a purse of $318,000 ($159,000 per end). The team roping payoff will mirror that of the five other PRCA-sanctioned events and two WPRA events. There is no aggregate payoff at FWSSR. Here’s how it breaks down.

Who qualified for the team roping at the 2026 Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo?

The top 48 headers and heelers from the 2025 ProRodeo season are invited. The champion team from the PRCA sanctioned FWSSR Rookie event will be accepted. The team roping winners from these seven rodeos in 2025 are also invited: Parker County Sheriff’s Posse Frontier Days and PRCA Rodeo in Weatherford; Gladewater Round-Up Rodeo; Wichita Falls PRCA Rodeo; Mineral Wells Rodeo; Johnson County Sheriff’s Posse in Cleburne; Ellis County Fair and Rodeo in Waxahachie; North Texas State Fair and Rodeo in Denton.
