July PRCA Circuits Standings Update Amidst Cowboy Christmas Run
From Canada to Arizona and down through the Western United States, the rodeos are busy for the week of America’s 250th birthday—here's a look at the ProRodeo circuit standings in the midst of Cowboy Christmas.

Cowboy Christmas—stretching from June 28-July 5—is the most concentrated week of prize money on the PRCA calendar and, for certain circuits, it can reshape standings in a matter of days.
This year, 12 of the 13 PRCA circuits have Cowboy Christmas rodeos falling in their home territories, with the Columbia River Circuit getting the biggest set—six rodeos headlined by the St. Paul Rodeo. The Badlands Circuit and Maple Leaf Circuit are next in line with five. The Mountain States circuit has the Greeley Stampede ($280,000 added), the Turquoise circuit has the World’s Oldest Rodeo in Prescott ($168,000 added), and several others have rodeos in the $100,000-plus range.
Below are the top 10 headers and heelers in all 13 circuits as of July 1, 2026, along with key Cowboy Christmas stops in the circuits that have them.
Columbia River
The St. Paul Rodeo is the second-largest rodeo over Cowboy Christmas, and it kicks off June 30 and runs through the Fourth of July, giving Columbia River ropers a major shot right in their backyards. The Columbia River Circuit also has the most rodeos this Cowboy Christmas with six stops.

The Maple Leaf Circuit has the second-most Cowboy Christmas action of any circuit this week. The Ponoka Stampede—one of the premier rodeos in Canada at $465,000 added—runs through July 1, and is the largest stop the entire Fourth of July. Airdrie Pro Rodeo ($31,500 added) runs June 29–July 1, and the Raymond Stampede wraps June 30–July 1. That’s a lot of money up for Canadian-circuit competitors in a short window.
