Pro Rodeo Results Wrap-Up: Proctor and Motes Pocket $11,432; Egusquiza and Long Win Sikeston AND MORE
Coleman Proctor and Ryan Motes jump to second and first in the PRCA world standings after adding $11,432 to their earnings.

Four-time NFR qualifiers Coleman Proctor and Ryan Motes continue to stay in the top five of the PRCA world standings after earning $11,432 to each of their season totals, with Motes now leading the pack as the number-one heeler in the world.

The duo won the Lea County PRCA Rodeo in Lovington, New Mexico, roping two head in 9.5-seconds, worth $3,229 a man. They won the first round with a 4.3-second run, and tied Chase and Tyson Thompson for seventh in the second round with a 5.2-second run, adding $328 to each man’s earnings.

Proctor and Motes tied Texas’ Tyler Wade and Oklahoma’s Billie Jack Saebens to win the Lawton (Oklahoma) Rangers Rodeo. They each roped their steer in 4.4-seconds, adding $3,849 to each man’s earnings.

Proctor and Motes also won the first round at the Sikeston (Missouri) Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo with a 4.5-second run, worth $1,873 a man. 

Proctor leaped from fourth to second with $95,290.26. Motes passed Kyle Lockett for first in the heeling standings with $102,705.62.

Two-time NFR qualifier Dustin Egusquiza and eight-time NFR qualifier Jake Long won the Sikeston (Missouri) Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo. They roped two head in 10.9-seconds, worth $2,810 a man. They placed second in the first round with a 5.2-second run, worth $1,550 a man. They tied Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan for second in the second round with a 5.7-second run, adding $1,389 to each of their earnings.

Egusquiza and Long also placed fourth in the average at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo in Hermiston, Oregon with a time of 13.4-seconds on two head, worth $1,853 a man, and won the first round with a 4.5-second run, worth $2,029 a man. 

Egusquiza and Long added a total of $9,631 to each of their earnings. Egusquiza jumped from 18th to 13th in the PRCA world standings with $ 57,202,72. Long moved form fourth to third with $91,896.54.

Two-time NFR qualifiers Tyler Wade and Billie Jack Saebens added a total of $7,237 to each of their earnings. They tied Proctor and Motes for first at the Lawton Rangers Rodeo with a 4.4-second run, worth $3,849 a man.

They placed sixth in the average at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo with a time of 18.2-seconds on two head, adding $1,059 to their earnings. They placed second in the second round with a 4.1-second run, worth $1,765 a man. 

They also tied Garrett Tonozzi and Dustin Davis for eighth at the Cache County Fair And Rodeo in Logan, Utah with a 5.0-second run, worth $564 a man.

Wade is now 14th in the PRCA world standings with $57,789.77. Saebens is 17th with $48,569.97.

Nine-time NFR qualifier Charly Crawford and 2018 Hork Dog 19 Champion Heeler Logan Medlin won the Farm-City Pro Rodeo (Crawford won this same rodeo in 2014 with Shay Carroll) with a time of 10.4-seconds, worth $3,044 a man. They placed second in the first round with a 4.6-second run, worth $1,765 a man. 

Crawford and Medlin also placed fifth in the average at the Lea County PRCA Rodeo with a time of 11.6-seconds on two head, worth $1,544 a man, and tied Britt and Jake Smith for fifth in the second round with a 5.1-second run, adding $889 to each man’s earnings.

Crawford jumped from 42nd to 35th in the PRCA world standings with 32,951.01. Medlin leaped from 32nd to 24th with $40,459.93.

Two-time NFR heeling qualifier Quinn Kesler (who is now heading) and Hopper, Utah’s Colby Siddoway added $4,756 to their earnings.

They won the Bozeman (Montana) Stampede with a 4.0-second run, worth $2,378 to their earnings, then placed second at the Missoula (Montana) Stampede with a 5.0-second run, worth $2,378 a man. 

Seven-time NFR qualifier Kaleb Driggers and 2016 All-Around World Champion Junior Nogueira won the Cache County Fair And Rodeo with a 4.1-second run, worth $2,679 a man. They placed second in the second round at the Lea County PRCA Rodeo with a 4.4-second run, worth $1,872 a man.

Driggers and Nogueira added a total of $4,551 to each of their earnings. Driggers and Nogueira are both fifth in the PRCA world standings with $82,667.19.

2018 Resistol Rookie contender Brenten Hall and two-time NFR qualifier Chase Tryan added a total of $3,615 to their earnings. 

They placed third in the average at the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo with a time of 11.4-seconds on two head, worth $1,841 a man. They placed sixth in the first round with a 5.7-second run, worth $323 a man, then tied Egusquiza and Long for second in the second round with a 5.7-second run, worth $1,389 a man.

They tied Britt and Jake Smith and Bubba Buckaloo and Shay Carroll for eighth at Lea County PRCA Rodeo with a 5.5-second run, worth $62 a man.

Hall and Tryan added $3,615 to each of their earnings. Hall is 11th and Tryan is 12th with $59,797.54, respectively.
