Rodeo Corpus Christi shook up the 2026 PRCA team roping world standings race as the busy summer run is still on the horizon.
Brye Crites and Ross Ashford made the biggest splash of the weekend, raking in $14,076 a man for the Rodeo Corpus Christi win. Crites and Ashford were 8.6 seconds on two head to take home the coveted surfboards and give them a boost to No. 6 and 5 in the world standings with $40,681.64 and $45,583.26, respectively.
Nelson Wyatt and Jonathan Torres continue to make their way up the standings, now sitting No. 7 and 9 in the world landings with $40,174.65 won on the year thus far. They recently picked up $2,054 apiece out of Corpus Christi following $9,304 a man over the last two weeks in April.
Tyler Tryan rounded out April and kicked off May cashing in $11,535 between the Clovis (California) Rodeo and Guymon Pioneer Days. He now sits eighth in the world with $39,241.05.
