Smith and Eaves continue to stay on top.

Clay Smith and Paul Eaves are strongly holding onto their number-one spot in the World standings after adding $7,555 to each of their earnings after turning in a combined time of 14.1 seconds on three head to win the San Angelo (Texas) Rodeo. In the first round they tied with Dustin Egusquiza and Kory Koontz and Cory Kidd V and Caleb Anderson with a 4.0-second run worth $1,705 each. They then won fifth in the final round with a 5.8 to add $491 to each of their earnings. Smith and Eaves currently have $37,879.94 won. They currently have a $14,134.80 lead on Luke Brown and Jake Long who are currently second in the World standings.

The new found team of Tyler Wade and Trey Yates are making their way up in the standings after winning the Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson, Miss. with a time of 11.4 on two head to add $2,773 to each of their earnings. In round one, their team tied for sixth with Kelsey Parchman and Kinney Harrell with a 5.8-second run, worth $159 each. In the second round, they tied for third with Cory Clark and B.J. Dugger with a 5.6-second run, worth $1,052 each. Then onto the San Antonio (Texas) Stock Show & Rodeo, where Wade, who is roping with Rich Skelton there, roped in bracket two and won third in the first round with a 5.7-second run with $1,189 each, first in the second round with a 4.7-second run worth $2,375 each and tied for second in round three with Ty Blasingame and Yates and Rhen Richard and Quinn Kesler with a 4.4-second run, worth $1,189 each. Wade and Skelton will advance to the semifinals, adding $4,756 to each of their earnings. Wade and Yates won $13,496 and $5,173 over the weekend, respectively.
