The 2026 PRCA regular season ends today at the Last Hoorah in Stephenville, Texas, where $37,500 added per side is still up for grabs.
One Resistol Rookie of the Year race is already settled. The other comes down to whether Trey White can put together something close to a perfect day.
Rookie standings are from the PRCA as of Sept. 29. The most any one man can win at the Last Hoorah is $22,203.90: three go-round wins, the short-round win and the aggregate win.

Kelton leads Hill by $45,662.73, more than twice what anybody can win today. The rookie heading title is his.
He isn’t done, though. The Mayer, Arizona, header is No. 15 in the world standings, the last spot in for the NFR, and he’s less than $900 ahead of both Nelson Wyatt and Cory Kidd. Kelton got inside the top 15 by winning San Bernardino with Denton Dunning in 4.1 on Sunday, Sept. 27, two days after a no-time at Poway. It’s been building all summer, from $29,000 over Cowboy Christmas to the Idaho Falls win. He and Dunning are No. 31 in the draw, the last of the three bubble headers to rope, so he’ll know exactly what he needs before he nods.

Tryan leads White by $19,486.08. A perfect day pays $22,203.90, so White can still catch him, but only just.
What White needs: He has to win about $19,500 more than Tryan, which is close to everything on the table. That means placing high in the rounds, winning or placing in the short round and finishing in the top three in the aggregate.
What Tryan needs: Almost nothing. A check of $2,717.83 or more ends the race. That’s third or better in any round, or sixth or better in the aggregate. Tryan ropes with dad, Clay, at No. 9 in the draw, so he could have it settled before White and Spencer Mitchell back in the box at No. 81.
It’s been a back-and-forth race all year. Kyler Kanady led in June, and a Music City check pushed Tryan to No. 2. Kanady, now No. 3, is $35,115.18 back and out of reach.
