Resistol Rookie Update: Chick, Bray and Ahlstrom Continue to Scrape in Money
There's still a few Resistol Rookies battling it out as we roll into the final week of PRCA Pro Rodeo's regular season.

Garett Chick; Salado, Texas 

As cowboys are preparing for the final weekend of PRCA Pro Rodeo’s regular season, Resistol Rookie’s No. 2 header Garett Chick is not backing down with $30,899.09 in total earnings.

Chick kicked off his partnership with Walt Woodard at the Amarillo (Texas) Tri-State Fair and Rodeo, where they added $2,061 to each of there earnings. 

Going into the final weekend in the regular season, Chick is sitting fifth in the average at the Pasadena (Texas) Livestock Show & Rodeo with Buddy Hawkins II and is currently leading the second round. 

Paden Bray; Grandbury, Texas

Unofficially, Paden Bray has won the Resistol Rookie Heeling title with $67,014.24 in total earnings after adding $2,577 to his earnings. What everyone is now anticipating is whether he will be qualifying for the Wrangler NFR. 

Bray is currently 16th in the PRCA world standings with a few more chances to earn enough money to seal the deal to not only win the Resistol Rookie of the Year title, but what would be his first trip to the bright lights of Las Vegas come December. 

Dylin Ahlstrom; Genola, Utah

Dylan Ahlstrom made the biggest move in the Resistol Rookie heeling standings after adding $2,147 to his earnings. He launched from 10th to seventh after tying for the win at the Lion’s Dixie Roundup in St. George, Utah, putting him at $9,063.69 in total earnings. 

Ahlstrom is also sitting ninth in the Wilderness circuit standings with $6,831.19.
