Resistol Rookies to Watch in 2021 Pro Rodeo
Here is the current list of Resistol headers, heelers and all-around contenders to keep an eye on in the 2021 Pro Rodeo season.

The 2021 PRCA Pro Rodeo season has already started, and ropers are heading out to kick off the summer run, including the rookies. The newcomers are preparing to battle for their shot at the year-end Resistol Rookie title and the chance to qualify for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

A Battle to the End: Tanner Tomlinson Crowned 2020 Resistol Rookie Header of the Year

This year, the All-Around race is made up entirely of team ropers as the season kicks off. Oklahoma’s Wyatt Muggli has taken an early lead in both the Resistol Rookie Heading and All-Around races. In the team roping, Muggli currently has $9,467.25 in Resistol Rookie earnings, also putting him 37th in the PRCA world standings and $20,323.18 in the Resistol Rookie all-around earnings, giving him a significant $16,000 lead over the No. 2 man

Oregon’s Calgary Smith is leading the charge in the Resistol Rookie Heeling standings and is 31st in the PRCA world standings with $9,441.91 in season earnings.
