Team Ropers Step Up to Help in Wyoming Wildfire Relief
Team ropers, calf ropers and barrel racers have rallied behind the people and livestock of the 2024 Wyoming wildfires.

Our rodeo family is famous for rallying when times get toughest. Raging Wyoming wildfires set off by lightning strikes, including the Flat Rock Fire, Constitution Fire, House Draw Fire and Remington Fire, which has also burned into Montana, have now scorched more than 400,000 acres in the Cowboy State and beyond. It’s heartwarming to see so many team ropers and our rodeo family stepping up with offers of everything from private roping lessons to breedings to standout studs.

The list of huge-hearted team ropers who’ve rallied behind the people and livestock of Wyoming, including so many ranchers left in ruins, is long, impressive and growing fast. To name and thank the ones we know about for now…Tyler Wade, Wesley Thorp, Clay Cooper, Trevor Brazile, Miles Baker, JD Yates, Brenten Hall, Hunter Koch, Paul Eaves, Billie Jack Saebens, Erich Rogers, Chad Masters, Luke Brown, Travis Graves, Wyatt Cox, Angie Meadors, Kollin VonAhn, Tanner Tomlinson, Patrick Smith, Clayton Van Aken, Cody Snow, Coy Rahlmann, Wyatt Bray, Paden Bray, Jade Corkill, Clay Smith, Junior Nogueira, Clint Summers, Joe Beaver, Jake Cooper, Rich Skelton, Sherry Cervi and Cory Petska. Thank you one and all, and may your generosity be contagious.

Jade Corkill, JD Yates and Miles Baker are just a few of the team ropers who have rallied behind Wyoming.

A Wyoming Rancher Fire Relief Facebook page is organizing bids on countless cowboy offers, including those from this list. Team ropers and any other cowboy people who care to help by donating or buying things can visit the page and contact the people behind it directly.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) also has relief programs in place, including the Livestock Indemnity Program (LIP), Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-Raised Fish Program (ELAP) and Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program (NAP).

Prayers to everyone impacted by these wildfires, including the firefighters on the front lines working around the clock.
