Ask the Pros–Going Pro

Dear Logan,
What do you recommend to a young team roper that wants to take his roping to the professional level?

Thanks,
Trevor, Trenton, Utah

Dear Trevor,
I’d say when you practice, practice with the best people you can. Find people who will push you and drive you. Try to go to schools, and go to every one you can. It’s who you practice with. If you can get around people who practice hard and rope good, you’ll get better. You need to be around people who will push you. It’s harder to make yourself get better and hone your skills if you don’t have that. In my opinion, it’s all about who you practice with.

Sincerely,
Logan Olson
