Wesley Thorp

Wesley Thorp is the 2019 PRCA World Champion Heeler from Throckmorton, Texas, now residing in Stephenville.

Thorp won the Bob Feist Invitational and the College National Finals Rodeo in 2016 before qualifying for his first Wrangler National Finals Rodeo that year with Zac Small. Thorp’s made the NFR every year since, roping with Cody Snow in four of those seasons, Chad Masters in one and Tyler Wade in 2023.

Thorp uses a Classic NV4 heel rope, and he’s won the American Rope Horse Futurity Association World Championship on the gelding Juiced Up Cat, a horse he’s rodeoed on in 2023.
