The Riata Buckle Stallion Incentive paid out some $2 million in 2022, and in 2023 the event will add at least $500,000 more.

The program has added a Bonus Earnings program, as well as a proxy program, that’s all having a massive impact on rope horse prices at sales and through private treaty. Denny Gentry—founder of the Riata Buckle alongside Lance Robinson and Chad Beus—joins The Score to review the 2023 format, the Riata Buckle earnings program, the Proxy program and the Riata’s impact on the rope horse business.
