NFR Team Roping Could Get QUICK in Round 6 with Soft Cattle
The second run on the softest pen of cattle.
Clay Guardipee

The softest pen of steers will go

Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin: 29

Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira got a leg on this steer, but they’d have been 5.1 in Round 3.

Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins: 17

Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin had this one in Round 3 and were 4.3 with a solid run. He’s on the smaller end of the pen, and he could be a step to the left.

Clay Smith and Jake Long: 60

DAY MONEY. This is the steer Tanner and Patrick were 3.6 on. He’s a step right, so Jake will be able to take a fast, unquestionably legal shot.

Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill: 25

Just medium. JR Dees and Levi Lord made a solid 4.3-second run.

Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira: 32

Jake Orman and Brye Crites had this steer in Round 3 and got the steer down in 4.4 seconds. He should be a good one for them to rebound with. He’s just medium, and the cattle contractor Bobby Joe Hill calls a 4.1-second run on him tonight.

Jake Orman and Brye Crites: 21

Good medium steer that Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison knocked down in 4.3 seconds.

Riley Minor and Brady Minor: 44

This is the steer Lightning Aguilera missed in Round 3. He should be medium.

Lightning Aguilera and Jonathan Torres: 39

Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins jackpotted this one to be 5.9 in Round 3. He ought to just be medium.

Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp: 35

Medium. They missed him the first time in the run through, so he’ll have an extra run on him. Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler made a textbook run on him in Round 3, and he should fit Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp’s pattern, too. With Annie in the lineup, they could be deadly on this one.

Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison: 55

This is the horse Jade Corkill roped a leg on in Round 3. He’s medium and steps left.

JR Dees and Levi Lord: 27

Cody Snow missed this steer in Round 3.

Tyler Wade and Trey Yates: 47

This is a good steer. Dustin Egusquiza and Travis Graves were 3.8 on him in Round 3, so he should fit Tyler and Trey, too.

Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler: 14

Tyler Wade and Trey Yates made a 4.8-second run on him, but it was only longer because Yates bobbled his dally. This should be a good one.

Dustin Egusquiza and Travis Graves: 31

Riley Minor split the horns, fished and lost it on this one in Round 3. He should just be medium.

Tanner Tomlinson and Patrick Smith: 41

This is the steer that Clay Smith had an illegal head catch on in Round 3. He’s just medium.
