The Final Showdown: Everything You Need to Know About the Resistol Reno Open
What's going on at the Resistol Reno Open? Here's everything you need to know.

On Saturday, June 18, Ullman-Peterson Events will produce the Resistol Reno Open Championship, presented by The Silver Legacy Resort & Casino, in its final year of the contract with the Reno Rodeo.

The Open, which pays at least $100,000 for first place, will showcase the best 100 teams from around the globe over five full go-rounds and a short round.

Bob Feist Invitational producers moved the 45-year-old event to Oklahoma after 37 years in Reno, but are excited to announce “The Final Showdown” in Reno this summer.

The Resistol Reno Open is an Open roping, six-head average with $20,000 added.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Saturday, June 18, 2022.
Doors open at 7:00 a.m. Rope at 8:00 a.m.

Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center

WHAT IS THE FORMAT?

It will be a six-head roping, progressive after five, and the top 15 will advance to the short round.

HOW MUCH WILL THE RESISTOL RENO OPEN PAYOUT?

$20,000 added with 90% Payback. The Open is guaranteed to pay at least $100,000 for first place.

HOW TO ATTEND

Tickets for the Resistol Reno Open can be purchased on-site at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center or during the Cowboy Auction held at the Silver Legacy.

WHERE TO WATCH

The Wrangler Network will broadcast live video coverage from Reno, Nevada; Saturday, June 18th and Tuesday, June 21st through Thursday, June 23rd, 2022.
