The San Angelo Stock Show & Rodeo is back in the heart of West Texas and kicked off with the timed event slack Tuesday, April 2, 2024. With a purse of $90,000 ($45,000 for both ends), the performances run April 5-19.

The San Angelo Rodeo prides itself on being a permit max event that welcomes both PRCA Card and Permit Holders, calling themselves the launching pad for rodeo athlete’s careers.

Friday, April 19, Shay Carroll and Jace Helton took home the 2024 title with a 13.9 seconds on three steers. All in all, they pocketed $9,692 a man during their trip.

San Angelo Rodeo format

San Angelo is a back-to-back, two-round format (either roping twice in slack or in back-to-back performances) with the top 12 times on two head getting invited back for the clean slate finals Friday, April 19, 2024.
