Members of Roping.com this week can watch the livestream of the 2nd Annual Priefert Ranch Open Team Roping on Tuesday from Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Priefert’s PRO Roping is comprised of five days of team roping and breakaway at the Priefert Ranch. It kicks off May 30 with a 15.5 Add On team roping at 2 p.m., followed by the Priefert Ranch Open that afternoon. The PRO Open Breakaway and 19-And-Under Breakaway ropings are scheduled for Wednesday (streaming on BreakawayRoping.com), followed by a full slate of World Series ropings June 1-3.

“The Priefert family developed the Priefert Ranch Open to coincide with the Mount Pleasant PRCA rodeo and entice ropers to stick around town for a few more days,” said PRO announcer Dru Stewart, who plans to also stream interviews of champions via the Priefert Sports Desk.

The enter-twice Open was won last year by Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins, who squeaked out victory by just one hundredth of a second on five steers over defending PRCA world champs Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira to earn $5,910. It was part of a banner year for Ward and Hawkins, who also won The American rodeo, the Lone Star Shootout and the Resistol Reno Open on the way to making their third NFR together.

Also, watch footage of the remaining jackpots at the PRO Roping, including the 14.5, Bloomer 13.5 and 12.5 on Thursday; the Smarty 11.5, 10.5 and 9.5 on Friday; and the 8.5 and 7 on Saturday. Get access for less than $25 a month by visiting Roping.com, where you can watch other Open ropings and futurities, receive personal critiques from Hall-of-Famers, and watch live video demonstrations and step-by-step tutorials to improve your roping.
