After a brief timeout from ProRodeo, Colby Lovell is back in action. Lovell and partner James (Ty) Arnold won the Dodge City (Kan.) Roundup Rodeo with an aggregate time of 15.5-seconds on three head to take home $3,797 a man. Along with winning the average, the duo tied with Marcus Theriot and Cody Doescher and Charly Crawford and Joseph Harrison for third in the first round with 5.1-seconds, tied with Chad Masters and Travis Graves for eighth in the second round with 5.4-seconds, and went ahead and took the first place spot for the final round with 5.0-seconds, adding a total of $2,528 to their average checks. Lovell and Arnold then placed fourth at the XIT Rodeo & Reunion in Dalhart, Texas with a 4.8-second run to add $703 to their weekend earnings. The new found team brought home a total of $7,028 each.

Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill are in the hunt for the top 15 in the PRCA world standings after tying with Cale Markham and Austin Rogers for second with a 4.5-second run at Kansas Biggest Rodeo in Phillipsburg, Kan., taking home $3,038 each. At Great Falls, Mont.’s Big Sky ProRodeo Roundup the duo took home the second place title after tying with Clay Robertson and Sam Levine for fifth in the first round with 5.5-seconds and tying with Riley Minor and Brady Minor for second in the second round with 4.2-seconds giving them a total of 9.7-seconds on two head to total their earrings to $2,771 for that rodeo. At the Northeast Montana Fair & Rodeo in Glasgow, Mont., the team tied with Layne Carson and Elliott Gourneau for sixth with a 5.6-second run adding $114 per man to their weekend along with placing sixth in the first round at the Dodge City (Kan.) Roundup Rodeo with a 5.2-second run adding an additional $881 each to their paychecks. Tryan and Corkill totaled their weekend earnings to $6,804 each.

Erich Rogers and Cory Petska are staying in the top five of the PRCA world standings after an average win at the Big Sky ProRodeo Roundup in Great Falls, Mont. Their team won second in the first round with a 4.7-second run worth $1,031 each, fourth in the second round with a 4.6-second run worth $601 a man and the average win with 9.3-seconds on two head worth $1,869 each. The duo then tied with Joshua and Jonathan Torres for sixth at the Mountain Valley Stampede in Heber City, Utah, with a 5.0-second run adding $1,412 per man to their earnings. Then they went on to the Wind River PRCA Rodeo Roundup in Riverton, Wyo., taking home third with a 5.5-second run adding $670 to their accounts. The duo totaled $5,583 to their earnings.
