The Team Roping Journal’s 2027 breeding season preview issue—hitting mailboxes by Oct. 1—closes Aug. 20, 2026, giving stallion owners an early start to market their horses to the Western performance industry’s most engaged audience.
Every year, The Team Roping Journal features special breeding rates in two issues—the October Breeding Season Preview Issue and the January Breeder’s Guide. The October issue features overrun distribution at the Old West Futurity and American Rope Horse Futurity Association World Finals.
The magazine ships to 44,000 readers, including all members of the industry’s largest roping associations—the USTRC and Ariat World Series of Team Roping—on the heels of the $1.5 million-added Riata Championships, when ensuring stallion enrollments are top of mind across the sport.
Reservations close for the issue Friday, Aug. 21, with materials due Aug. 26.
