Classic Ropes holds a strong lead in the lineup of headers at the 2025 American Rodeo.
Twelve of the 20 headers who will compete this weekend between the American Contender Finals (Friday, April 11) and the American Rodeo Finals (Saturday, April 12) will use a rope made by Classic or Rattler—sister companies. And while the Powerline makes up half of those rope choices, there’s a tick more diversity.
Cactus will be represented by 2021 NFR champ Andrew Ward, Nelson Wyatt, Jeff Flenniken and Pedro Egurrola, while Canadian Kash Bonnett will be the lone Top Hand Ropes representative. Lone Star Ropes will have three dogs in the fight this year with 2022 NFR champ Tanner Tomlinson, Dustin Egusquiza and former American Rodeo champ Coleman Proctor.
