The Lighter End: Round 3 Steer Report
The third pen of cattle in Round 3 of the Wrangler National Final Rodeo Team Roping will showcase lighter cattle with possible record-breaking runs later in the week from Hill Rodeo Cattle.

“These are the lighter end of the steers and by Round 9 we can see some records broke.” — Bobby Joe Hill

757 Derrick Begay and Brady Minor

Medium-plus.

743 Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler

Straight and will give them a good chance for a go-round buckle.

742 Clint Summers and Ross Ashford

Medium. This steer took a step left in the run-through.

745 Brenten Hall and Chase Tryan

This steer was middle of herd and should give them a chance to win.

755 Tyler Wade and Trey Yates

Middle of the herd steer.

749 Clay Tryan and Jake Long

This steer stepped left and has a bigger set of horns.

758 Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp

Medium-minus. If they get out at the barrier they have a good chance of winning the round.

750 Clay Smith and Jade Corkill

One of the better steers in the herd.

753 Erich Rogers and Paden Bray

Smaller, fast handling steer. Medium plus in the run-through. Not my pick, but should be a day off for Rogers and Bray.

754 Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira

Took a step left in run-through and maybe a little softer.

744 Dustin Egusquiza and Travis Graves

Middle of the herd steer.

748 Quinn Kesler and Joseph Harrison

Medium. With them out of the average this is a good enough steer to win the round on.

746 Coy Rahlmann and Douglas Rich

Medium. Middle of the herd nothing special.

730 Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins II

Taller, framer steer and won’t handle as fast as some of the steers in here.

751 Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin

Middle of herd. He could give them a chance to win the round.
