What Heel Ropes Will We See at the 2025 American?

The American Rodeo kicks off tonight April 11, with the Contender Finals where five teams will join the five invitees from the 2024 PRCA world standings April 12, in the American Rodeo Finals.

With a potential $1 million on the line for the contenders, the heel rope choice matters. Nearly half of the field is armed with a Powerline, and 13 of the 20 heelers are calling on a Classic or Rattler—sister companies.
