Five of the six teams for Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo May 16, 2025, have been determined, but one team remains open, giving any rodeo athlete the opportunity to fight for their spot in the Arlington, Texas, rodeo.
The final team—the WCRA Free Riders—will be built using champions from Rodeo Corpus Christi, which takes place May 8–11.

Team Convoy — Cody Ohl

Dustin Egusquiza, Levi Lord, Clay Smith and Coleby Payne are original Convoy members as they were also on Ohl’s team in 2024.
Team Jokers — Sid Steiner
- Chad Masters / Cory Petska
- Colby Lovell / Jade Corkill
The only returning team member for the Jokers is Cory Petska, who was drafted with Derrick Begay last year. This year, Petska will heel behind Chad Masters. New to the Jokers as well are Colby Lovell and Jade Corkill. Corkill was aboard the winning Free Riders team in 2024.
Team Lowriders — Trevor Brazile

- Tyler Wade / Wesley Thorp
Clint Summers and Jake Long will return to the Lowriders team, but the 2023-2024 World Champions Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp are new in 2025. Last year, Wade and Thorp were on team Misty Mountain Hop.
Team Misty Mountain Hop — Charmayne James

- Coleman Proctor / Logan Medlin
Team Misty Mountain Hop will see the return of two-time World Champs Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira, but they’re welcoming Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin in 2025. Proctor and Medlin were on the Sledge Hammers team last year, led by Fred Whitfield.
Team Sledge Hammers — Fred Whitfield
- Tanner Tomlinson / Travis Graves
- Cody Snow / Hunter Koch
Tanner Tomlinson is the only Sledge Hammers veteran in 2025. This year, he’ll be accompanied by his 2025 PRCA partner Travis Graves, as well as Cody Snow and Hunter Koch.
Team Free Riders — Bobby Mote
- Team members for the Free Riders will be determined at WCRA Rodeo Corpus Christi May 7-10. The first and second-place team ropers from Corpus who have not already been drafted will be form the Free Riders Team. In 2024, the Free Riders took the win at Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo, with the help of team ropers Jake Smith and Douglas Rich, and Luke Brown and Jade Corkill.
