The Women’s Rodeo World Championship (WRWC) will enter the 2024 event with a new partnership for the World’s Richest Women’s Rodeo with Kimes Ranch, the western wear leaders of quality in style, product, and service.

Throughout the 2024-26 WRWC seasons, Kimes Ranch will be the official shirt & jean partner. The brand will also serve as the presenting sponsor of the Breakaway Roping discipline.

“Kimes Ranch is an active supporter of women’s rodeo events,” said Kimes Ranch Chief Marketing Officer, Lindsay Perraton. “Our goal is to continue to assist in advancing women in rodeo where we find innovative opportunities to do so. Working with WCRA, an organization that continues to look for opportunities to grow rodeo in this area, seemed like a natural partnership.”

The WRWC is the biggest annual purse for a women’s rodeo event. It is a joint effort between the PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and the WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance). The event is set to crown world champions in disciplines such as team roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, and an all-around world champion. The competition is set to pay out more than $750,000 in 2024.

“The best way to embrace the theme of 2024—the Year of the Cowgirl—is to collaborate with the prestigious team at Kimes Ranch,” said WRWC Commissioner Linsay Rosser-Sumpter. “We both strive to recognize and appreciate cowgirls’ significant contributions to the West.  This is a genuine and natural fit for our official WRWC western brand.”

With a multi-generational background in the Western industry, Matt and Amanda Kimes’ desire was to create a company that produced meticulously crafted denim without compromising on fit or style. Combining traditional elements of Western influence with forward-thinking fashion, Kimes Ranch has expanded over the years to offer a full line of apparel and caps to complement their jeans.

In 2024, after four days of competition inside Cowtown Coliseum from May 13-16, 2024, the Championship Round of the Women’s Rodeo World Championship will conclude inside the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys alongside the 2024 PBR World Finals Championship on May 18, 2024. Each WRWC event champion will be crowned, earning the lion’s share of the massive $750,000 purse.

Since launching in May 2020, the WRWC has awarded more than $3 million in new money to women’s rodeo athletes. For more information about the WRWC visit wrwc.rodeo
