Auctioneer Steve Friskup officially kicks off the 2023 season of The Score with Part 1 of the industry’s horse market report, presented by Professional’s Choice.
As rope horse futurities and stallion incentives continue to explode, Friskup talks about how the market forces at work continue to drive up rope horse prices from horse sales to private treaties. Friskup has a front-row seat to the action as he sells horses at Clovis Horse Sales and for the biggest individual sales in the industry, like the National Cutting Horse Association Futurity’s sale in Fort Worth. He’ll also sell the 60-plus head of horses at The Horse Sale at Rancho Rio this March during the National Team Roping’s Finals in Wickenburg, Arizona.
