Busby Quarter Horses’ Blazin Honor is a versatile performer who is passing his adaptability on to his offspring. 

A product of elite lineage, Blazin Honor is a son of Blazin Jetolena, an $11 million-plus sire, and a maternal grandson of Power Train, a $2.5 million track and barrel sire. 

The 2008 stallion has proven his winning pedigree in his own right, earning money in the WPRA on the barrels and racking up more than $90,000 in team roping earnings. Blazin Honor has 57 AQHA points in heading, heeling and performance halter as well as an AQHA Performance Register of Merit.

As a sire, Blazin Honor’s progeny are excelling in multiple disciplines as he produces horses that can run barrels and rope, whether it be heading, heeling or breakaway roping.

Among his winning progeny are multiple winners in the team roping including Blazin Merada, the 2024 Reserve Champion at the Riata #10.5 Youth with Hoyt Darnall. On the barrel pattern, Blazin Honor’s offspring Blazin On By is the 2025 APHA Junior Barrel Racing World Champion.
