When Theorem Ranch acquired Stevie Rey Von in 2025, the move established him as the program’s flagship sire and a cornerstone of its long-term vision. Jason and Kisha Itkin sought a stallion with proven influence across disciplines, a pedigree with true depth and offspring already succeeding at the highest levels of Western performance. Stevie Rey Von checked every box.
Foaled in 2012, Stevie Rey Von is by Metallic Cat and out of Miss Ella Rey, a daughter of Dual Rey—two names synonymous with cow sense, athletic power and consistency.
He carried that legacy into the show pen from the start. His breakout came with the 2015 NCHA Open Futurity Championship, making him the only living stallion to win the Futurity, be sired by a Futurity champion and later sire a Futurity champion. He followed with the 2016 AQHA Junior Cutting World Championship and the 2018 NCHA Super Stakes Open Classic, where his 231 in the finals set both an arena and Triple Crown record.

Today, Stevie Rey Von’s impact is measured in both dollars and versatility. As of late 2025, he is a $22 million sire whose foals excel in cutting, reined cow horse and increasingly in rope-horse events. His leading earner, Pride And Joyy, shown by Miles Baker and Trevor Brazile, exemplifies those qualities. In 2025, Stevies Pride N Joy added to his résumé with the AQHA Junior Tie-Down Roping World Championship.
With Theorem Ranch shaping his future, Stevie Rey Von stands poised to extend his influence as one of the Western performance industry’s defining sires.
