Levi Lord

Levi Lord, of Sturgis, South Dakota, is a two-time NFR heeler on track to qualify for his third Finals in 2023. Lord led the PRCA world standings for much of the 2023 season, buoyed by a win at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo early in the year as well as a top-notch performance over ProRodeo’s Cowboy Christmas run.

Lord roped at his first NFR (in Arlington, Texas) with Nelson Wyatt in 2020 where he finished fourth in the world standings with $167,589 won. In 2022 he returned to the Finals with JR Dees, winning $211,128 on the year—including a Round 1 win for his first run inside the Thomas & Mack.

Lord made his first Finals on his signature bay gelding, LB. The horse was one he paid $2,700 for as a teenager. Lord now has two good ones in his string—Birdie and Pauly.

Lord’s weapon of choice is a Cactus Thrilla MH.
