The Equinety Platinum Medal Rope Horse Futurity’s heeling short rounds boast eight mares—fully one third of the competition—in the finals that kick off at 6 p.m. CT in the Lazy E Arena Sept. 2, 2023, and as well as live on Roping.com.

There are also seven stallions in the three short rounds, headlined by Joseph Harrison’s Copperton—high back in the Platinum Medal Short Round.

Hickory Holly Time has four offspring in the short round rounds, with Billie Jack Saebens and Helluva Time at fifth call in the Platinum Medal Short Round, Joseph Harrison and Time To Glo third callback in the Gold Medal Short Round, Dakota Kirchenschlager and his Riata Buckle champion DT Hickorys Mistycat highback in the Silver Medal Short Round and Kirchenschlager and DT Hickorys Playtime fifth back in the Silver.
