Brenten Hall’s first trip to the Wrangler NFR was in 2019, and he’s impressed us ever since. Hall’s parents roped with Travis Graves when Graves was a kid. Brenten’s mom roped with Graves when he was starting out and his dad roped with him in some Open ropings. Roping is in his blood, even despite quiting for three years as a child after he got bucked off.

Hall says: “My dad always had God-given talent but he always said that he didn’t set his goals high enough. He always told me, ‘Never set your dreams low. Always set them high because he didn’t set his high enough. So I would say it was a huge goal of both of ours to do it. He told my mom as he was getting sick, that if I would keep my nose clean and keep down on the grind stone, I could do it. I guess he was right.”
