The top 20 American Rope Horse Futurity World Show 6 & Under head horses have been sorted.
Some 89 horses battled it out across three rounds for a spot in the Saturday, Nov. 1, short round.
- Kaleb Driggers has the most horses coming back to the heading finals. He is coming back second high call on Blowin In Time; third high back on BR Call A Uber; and 11th high call on JT The Golden Fix.
- Two owners, Premier Rope Horses and Relentless Remuda, are tied for most horses in the short round. Premier Rope Horses will have Sammis Version at the 15th call position and Call Sally at 13th call, both with Clay Smith. Relentless Remuda has two in the top 20 with Trevor Brazile and Miles Baker at the helm. Brazile will show Vintage New York at high call by more than six points and SJR Diamond Playit at the fourth high call back with Baker. While Brazile and Baker don’t own RR Clubhouse Buckles, he’s fourth call with Brazile, too.
- CD Diamond leads the list of sires with the most offspring in the 6 & Under heading and heeling with three. His son SJR Diamond Ombre and Wesley Thorp will rope at the ninth high call position in the heeling finals, as well as his daughter SJR Diamond Eve with Billie Jack Saebens at 14th call. In the heading, daughter SJR Diamond Playit and Miles Baker are coming back to the finals at fourth high call.
- There will be eight mares and 12 geldings in the final round of the heading—perhaps the largest distribution of mares in the short round ever.
