Chelsea Shaffer is Equine Network’s Western Sports Group editorial director and publisher, leading creative direction of The Team Roping Journal, The Breakaway Roping Journal, BarrelRacing.com and CalfRoping.com. A long-time advocate of women’s roping, Shaffer won the 2017 WPRA Media Award for the promotion of the sport. Shaffer hosts The Score podcast, and she's the content director of Roping.com. A 2010 graduate of Ohio University’s Honor’s Tutorial College, she prioritizes solid news reporting and storytelling in her writing.
