After the steers won in Round 1 with six no times in the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo team roping, these are the cattle that each team has drawn in the second pen for Round 2.
This is the smallest pen, and they weigh around 480 pounds each. The slower ones were pulled off this set, so team ropers should be in the barrier looking to get them caught before they run out of arena.
Round 2 NFR Team Roping Draw:
Lightning Aguilera and Jonathan Torres: 3
Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp: 12
Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison: 6
JR Dees and Levi Lord: 5
Tyler Wade and Trey Yates: 28
Medium plus. He’s a little bigger steer.
Rhen Richard and Jeremy Buhler: 15
Dustin Egusquiza and Travis Graves: 18
Tanner Tomlinson and Patrick Smith: 1
Medium. He was the first steer in the run through, and he’s smaller bodied and bigger horns. This is probably the money steer.
Coleman Proctor and Logan Medlin: 22
Medium plus. He’s one we moved down from the medium-sized set, so he may be a tick bigger.
Andrew Ward and Buddy Hawkins: 13
Clay Smith and Jake Long: 4
Medium plus the first time through, and they missed him and brought him back in the run through. So he’s got one more run on him.
Clay Tryan and Jade Corkill: 38
Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira: 9
Jake Orman and Brye Crites: 2
Medium, and he hopped pretty fast around the corner.
Riley Minor and Brady Minor: 10
Medium the first run through, and they missed him and ran him back.
