Following two rounds of NFR competition, No. 1 all-around cowboy Shad Mayfield’s position is being threatened by header Coleman Proctor and heeler Junior Nogueira.

Mayfield is currently fending off the competition with a total of $248,539 won, but Proctor surpassed Noguiera to move into the No. 2 position with $229,994 earned.

To do it, Proctor and heeler Logan Medlin finished No. 3 in Round 1 for $20,104 and No. 4 in Round 2 for $14,127. Now, Proctor is just $18,545 behind Mayfield.

Noguiera sits at No. 3 with $200,401 earned, receiving a bump from the $10,000 stipend all NFR qualifiers receive. He’s currently $41,139 behind Mayfield.

Winning a go-round pays $33,687, No. 2 pays $26,624 and No. 4 pays $20,104. There are still eight rounds and an average race left to be paid, so there is plenty of shifting possible.
