Mid Fourth-of-July Run
How Cowboy Christmas is going for Tryan and Corkill

Hope everyone had a fun 4th of July and got some rodeos, jackpots and BBQs in.

My week has been pretty busy. I started it off Monday night in Greeley CO. Everyone gets one steer at Greeley and then they bring the top 12 back for a short go. Jade and I were 6.2 and that just missed making the short go. My family and I left that night and drove to Livingston MT. I roped in Livingston Tuesday night. Livingston is a one head rodeo. We were 4.4 and split 4/5/6. Wednesday morning we roped in Cody WY. It’s also a one head rodeo. I broke the barrier there. From Cody my family took my rig and several horses to Billings MT to stay with my family for a few days. and we sent a set of horses from Cody to Oregon. Jade and I flew with our buddy team Drew Horner and Buddy Hawkins to Prescott AZ. Buddy’s wife Krista was there with another set of horses for us. We roped in Prescott that night. It’s a two head average. I missed the first one and we were 6.0 and winning the second round when we left. We roped in Window Rock (home of the biggest team roping fans there is) Thurs evening and didnt do any good. Friday morning we flew to Oregon. We roped in Eugene Friday night. It’s a one header. We were 5.8 and we’re tied for third.

We rope in St Paul and Molalla today. Then we’ll head to Drummond MT and rope there Sun. And I’ll meet up with my family and rig in Billings.

I’ll ride three different horses this week. I rode Dew at Greeley,Livingston and Cody. I rode Sadie at Prescott and Window Rock and Cate at Eugene,Mollolla,St Paul and Drummond. It’s a blessing to get to ride three good horses this week. A big thanks to everyone who hauled them and took care of them.
