PRCA Resistol Rookie Standings: July 31, 2018
Arnold moved to the number-one position in the PRCA Resistol Rookie heeling standings.

James Arnold moved to the number-one spot in the PRCA Resistol Rookie heeling standings after adding $3,921 to his earnings. Arnold roped with nine-time WNFR qualifier Charly Crawford to win second at the Steamboat Springs (Colorado) Pro Rodeo Series with a 5.9-second-run, worth $846 a man. The duo then won second in the average at the Deadwood (South Dakota) Days of 76 Rodeo with a time of 11.6 seconds on two head, worth $2,341 a man, and tied for fifth in the second round with Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira and Cody Snow and Wesley Thorp with a 5.4-second-run, worth $735 a man. Arnold is just shy from the top 50 in the PRCA World Standings. 

Jeff Flenniken had a big weekend banking $6,202 with his partner Jake Minor. The duo placed fifth in the second round at Cheyenne (Wyoming) Frontier Days with a 8.3-second-run, worth $2,850 each. They snuck into the average at Chief Joseph (Oregon) Days placing fifth with a time of 14.0 seconds on two head, worth $925 each, and won the second round with a 4.6-second-run, worth $1,986 each. At the Fiesta Days Rodeo in Spanish Fork, Utah. Flenniken and Minor tied Rhen Richard and Quinn Kessler for seventh in the second round with a 4.8-second-run, worth $441 a man. Flenniken is just shy of the top 20 in the PRCA World Standings.

Brenten Hall continues to stay on top of the leader board on the head side after winning the Bruce (Alberta) Stampede with partner Chase Tryan. The duo roped their steer in a quick 4.0 seconds to add $1,281 to each man’s earnings. They also won fourth at Ogden (Utah) Pioneer Days with a time of 10.5 seconds on two head, worth $1,777 a man. Hall is currently in the top 20 of the PRCA World Standings.
