Pro Rodeo Results Wrap-Up: Masters and Harrison Win Big in Amarillo
Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison add $3,264 to their earnings after winning the Amarillo Tri-State Fair and Rodeo.

The last weekend of PRCA Pro Rodeo’s regular season is finally here, and Chad Masters and Joseph Harrison are going into it on a high note after earning a big $3,264 paycheck from their win at the Amarillo (Texas) Tri-State Fair And Rodeo.

“We only went to one rodeo that we counted, and that was Amarillo and it was good there,” Harrison said.

They drew a good steer to win the rodeo in 4.4 seconds.

“It was a real good steer,” Harrison said. “I was sitting there and kind of watching all those steers, and they all wanted to try and run to the right a little bit. I just decided that I would go right with him and get beside him out there. It made him go a lot better.”

Masters and Harrison are currently seventh in the PRCA world standings with $95,528.72 and $96,616.85, respectively with four official rodeos left before the weekend ends.

“Just the same game plan,” Harrison said. “Just hope we get good steers and try to win all that we can—make a living.”

Masters and Harrison will rope at Omaha, Nebraska, and Kansas City, Missouri, on Friday, Stephenville, Texas, on Saturday and Apache, Oklahoma, on Sunday to finish out the 2019 PRCA Pro Rodeo regular season before preparing for this year’s Wrangler NFR.
