Ellensburg, Washington’s own Riley and Brady Minor dominated at the Ellensburg Rodeo after knocking down three head in 15.9 seconds, adding $4,277 to their earnings. They placed seventh in the first round with a 5.2-second-run, worth $620 each, tied J.B. James and Cesar de la Cruz for seventh in the second round with a 5.3-second-run, worth $434 each and third in the finals with a 5.4-second-run, worth $580 each. Riley is now sixth in the PRCA World Standings with $81,004.32. Brady is seventh with $79,811.70.

The team that has been popping up a lot lately is Derrick Begay and Cory Petska. They had a big weekend after banking $8,453, unofficially. They won seq1alla (Washington) Frontier Days after roping two head in 10.4 seconds, worth $2,512 each. They also won second in the first round with a 5.1-second-run, worth $1,675 each and tied Garrett Rogers and Trey Yates for second in the second round with a 5.3-second-run, worth $1,549 each. Begay and Petska also won second at the Sanders County Fair & PRCA Rodeo in Plains, Montana with a 4.8-second-run, worth $1,455 each. They also tied Trey Gallais and Trent Tunke to win the Nicola Valley Pro Rodeo in Merritt, British Columbia with a 4.4-second-run. Begay then roped with Tyler Worley at the Colorado State Fair & Rodeo in Pueblo, Colorado. They won the second round with a 5.1-second-run, worth $1,262 each. Begay is now 11th in the PRCA World Standings with $64,470.30. Petska is 10th with $77,150.91.

Clay Tryan and Travis Graves won the Montana’s Biggest Weekend in Dillon, Montana with a 4.2-second-run, worth $2,750 each. Then at the Magic Valley Stampede in Filer, Idaho they tied Bubba Buckaloo and Tyler Worley with a 4.9-second-round, worth $3,113 a man. They then snuck into the second round money at the Ellensburg Rodeo roping their steer in 4.5 seconds for second in the second round, worth $2,479 each. Tryan is currently eighth in the PRCA World Standings with $80,389.96. Graves is 11th with $76,532.82.

Garrett Rogers and Trey Yates added $6,364 to their earnings after having a decent weekend in Walla Walla, Washington. They won Walla Walla Frontier Days after roping two head in 10.2 seconds, adding $2,889 to their earnings. They also won the first round with a 4.9-second-run, worth $1,926 each, and tied Begay and Petska for second in the second round with a 5.3-second-run, worth $1,549 each. Rogers is in the top 30 in the PRCA World Standings with $48,801.23. Yates is currently fourth with $93,764.76, and well on his way to his first trip to the Thomas & Mack.
