ProRodeo Results Wrap Up June 13, 2016

Wowza–Dustin Bird netted $8,227 this weekend with paychecks in Florida, Oregon and California–including a big win at the Champions Challenge in Kissimmee with Tyler McKnight. Bird’s regular partner Russell Cardoza made $3,993 to jump to #2 in PRCA’s world standings, while Bird moved to #4. Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira picked up $3,909 in just two rodeos, cracking the top 30 without the money they’d won between Denver and Rapid City during the ERA/PRCA lawsuit that won’t be counted towards their standings totals. Fresh faces Zac Small and Wesley Thorp added $2,536 to their Rodeo Pay accounts, while Thorp also roped with Cole Wheeler in the first round at the College National Finals Rodeo to get the go-round win. Luke Brown and Jake Long made their mark, too, with $5,943 between three rodeos, including a second-place finish at the Kissimmee Champions Challenge. Garrett Rogers and Jake Minor have been hot and picked up another $3,830 each to put them in the top 15, and Canadians Jeremy Buhler and Levi Simpson won another $3,853 a man. Aaron Tsinigine cracked the top 15 with a win in Cortez, Colo., with fellow Arizonan Cesar de la Cruz.
