The 2022 PRCA ProRodeo season has already begun, and ropers are heading out to start their summer run, including the rookies who are battling for their shot at the year-end Resistol Rookie title and the chance to qualify for the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.

Tanner James of Porterville, California currently leads the Resistol Rookie Heading standings with $14,908.94, which places him 48th in the PRCA world standings. That’s a $6,579.47 lead over Kreece Thompson of Munday, Texas in the No.2 position.

Clay Green of Pine Grove, Louisiana leads the Resistol Rookie Heeling standings with $16,237.65 and is #45 in the PRCA world standings.
