Meant to Be Broken

Single-Season PRCA Team Roping Earnings Record Will Almost Surely Fall in Round 10 of ’24 NFR
Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira's 2022 earnings record is set to fall in Round 10 of the 2024 NFR.
PRCA Earnings Record

Kaleb Driggers and Junior Nogueira’s single-season PRCA team roping earnings record—set in 2022 at $340,708.23—is almost certain to fall in Round 10 of the 2024 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, no matter who ends up with the gold buckle.

Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp enter Round 10 with $334,856.26 won on the year, and they’re after the day money to give themselves a chance at a gold buckle. Coleman Proctor has $296,735.62 won as of now, but when the aggregate is factored in, if he holds his spot at fourth, he’ll hit $337,486.24—but he’ll be gunning for go-round money in Round 10 to help him in the all-around and for a chance at the gold buckle. Medlin is projected to have $324,253 not including Round 10 money.

Day money would help Clint Summers and Jake Long eclipse the earnings record, too, because they’re currently second in the average and set to end the year with $312,073.40 and $315,511.17 (projected to finish third without Round 10 calculated in).
