The stakes are high in Las Vegas for the 2024 NFR, meaning the Top 15 headers have carefully picked the ropes they’ll use inside the Thomas & Mack Dec. 5-14.
With a $1.5-million team roper payout up for grabs, these are the ropes the best headers in the game will choose.
NFR headers’ rope-choice analysis:
- Classic has the most ropes (and endorsees) in the Thomas & Mack with 11.
- Of the Classic ropes used, nine of the 11 are Powerlines, five of which are XS lays.
- Notably, Kaleb Driggers is the only Classic endorsee to use a Triton, and Clint Summers is the only to use a GT4.
- Classic Ropes have won $1.4 million for the men in the top 15 who used them so far in 2024.
- For both Cactus and Lone Star, the rope choices are split.
- Lone Star have won $356,797.99.
