Three Picks: 2024 NFR Team Roping Round 8 Steer Report
Three steers have had big money won on them coming into Round 8 of the 2024 NFR.

The bigger, stronger pen of team roping steers will make their last appearance inside the Thomas & Mack in Round 8 of the 2024 NFR with three money steers.

Steers 1, 2 and 12 all have $33,687.18 won on them between Rounds 2 and 5. Luke Brown and Travis Graves had Steer 1 in Round 2 and won $7,063.44 a man on him for a 4.5. In Round 5, Cody Snow and Hunter Koch roped him in 3.7 seconds for $26,623.74.

Steer 2 was first ran by Clay Smith and Coleby Payne in Round 2, and they were 4.7 and out of the money. Tyler Wade and Wesley Thorp won Round 5 on this steer with a 3.6-second run for $33,687.18 a man.

Wade and Thorp also won Round 2 on Steer 12 for $33,687.18 a man with a 3.7. Derrick Begay and Jonathan Torres had this cow in Round 5, and Torres legged him.
