The Women’s Rodeo World Championship ran from May 14-20 in Fort Worth, Texas, and paid out over $750,000 while crowning world champions in both the Pro and Challenger classifications in the team roping (heading and heeling), breakaway roping and barrel racing.

When the dust settled on the team roping, it was all about WPRA world champions Angelone and Crawford, who each took home $60,000 for their win. Angelone also walked away with the 2023 Women’s Rodeo World Championship All Around title. Lillian Kent, Jr. Western Digital Content Producer for Barrel Racing Magazine, The Team Roping Journal and The Breakaway Roping Journal, was on site to talk with the champs.
